Hi, I try to install Mahara on my hosted domain. I have created the dataroot directory as:

/httpdocs/maharadata/henrimahara/public_html and

/httpdocs/maharadata/henrimahara/maharadata.

All directories and subdirectories are chmod 777. But I still recieve the errorcode:

Your defined data root directory, /httpdocs/maharadata/henrimahara/, is not writable. This means that neither session data, user files nor anything else that needs to be uploaded can be saved on your server. Please make the directory if it does not exist, or give ownership of the directory to the web server user if it does.

Now what to do???

btw. Mahara seems to be a great program.....

first guess: need to specify the web root directory as well as the data root directory in your config.php file (edit config-dist.php with your proper paths and then save as config.php).
