Hi everyone,
i just installed the mahara System on our Web Server and get the following problem: When a user tries to upload a Profile Image, the message : "Error, file isn't an image" is displayed. Any ideas what the reason could be?

I hate to sound repetitive, but you didn't answer the questions . Which version of Mahara and which web browser were you using?06 December 2008, 3:41
Sorry just added to the thread. It is this site (Mahara.org). I am using IE7. It works fine on our site (1.05)

Hi everyone,
may i continue with this thread. I am havin the same problem on my fresh m1.07 installation.
Image files are of all three permissible types, among the ones i tried the one i'm using here as my avatar. If the image is too large, this is detected, if it fits in size it is regarded as a wrong file type.
Browsers: Safari / OSX, Firefox 2.0 / OSX, Firefox 2.0 / Linux
mahara: 1.07
Server: PHP 5.2.0-etch13 (i.e. OS Debian etch), apc 3.0.15, nginx/fastcgi over ssl.
Database: postgres 8.1.11
Any hints where and how to start are welcome.
Thanks
Beate
PS: is the current beta stable enough that i might consider starting from it?
PSS: a happy new year to everyone
