Kia ora koutou,

I've been having a play with http://posterous.com/ and really like what it can do. Essentially you send and email (or text/SMS in the U.S.) and it takes the title, body and any attachments and turns them into a blog post.

It got me thinking about how important mobiles are for learning these days and I wonder if anyone out there knows of any open source projects that allow posting via email or text message. Could we incorporate these features into Mahara? Mobiles are the default paradigm for the yoof of today.

Kia ora,

The lazyweb tells me that Wordpress has the ability to post from an email address. Anyone with experience with Mahara and Wordpress? How easy would it be to pull this kind of feature into Mahara?

Email is good but text messaging to a blog would be more powerful for students whose first device is the mobile phone.
