I've read numerous posts about the problem, but no difinitive answer on fixing it.I'm running 1.2.6.

SSL works fine on the other sites on  my server (including Moodle).I can even browse my Mahara install via an https:// url, but the networking page still complains.

Mahara is installed in its own subdomain. We've confirmed SSL is operating on the server, yet I am getting the infamous "The environment  is misconfigured and this is causing problems." message.

I've tried setting an environment variable for openssl_conf, but it didn't help either.

I can't help but think we are overlooking some minor config setting or something that is setting things sideways. Can anyone help?

Hi Melinda,

Is the SSL certificate that you're using correct for the URL of your Mahara instance?
