Hi,

I've got a similar problem. We run Mahara 1.2.5 on a Webcluster. We have a test installation and a production installation. On the test install, I can send messages to users and they arrive instantly. On the production server (same e-mail setup) Mahara says that the 'email was sent' but the e-mail is not sent.

Any ideas where to look for what to fix this problem?

A belated followup - I upgraded to 1.4 last week, keeping our old settings, but then imported the cron table from a clean 1.4 install I run locally as was getting nowhere with the other suggestions. Those settings (we never figured out the right combination) are behaving correctly and hourly looking for new forum posts to send.

Hi Yves,

The 1.3 series is now in "security-updates only" mode. Bug fixes only go onto the 1.4 series and the development branch.
