Hello!

I am having problems when I am trying to access one of our student's Profile View (Profile Page).

I have recieved this information:

Access Denied

You do not have access to view this page

[[youcannotviewthisusersprofile/mahara]]

I have tried both Firefox and IE. Both not working.

However when I logged as a student I was able to see his Profile Page.

What can I do?

Any ideas why did I receive this message?

Hi Agata,

It sounds like this student has changed the default visibility settings on their profile view.

Administrators are not able to see a user's views unless the user has made is visible to them (either "Public", "Logged in users only" or visible to a group that the administrator is in).

I know you can do this for View, but can you do this for Profile Page?

Not easily from the interface, but if you go directly to the right URL, you can do it. Profile pages, internally, are just views.

In fact, in 1.3, we have moved the profile page to My Portfolio so that it's there will all of your other views.
