As a teacher, I would like to be able to add comments to views which students share with me. Is there a space to do this? A comments window, for example? I know this feature exists in the blog, and I'm wondering if the rest of the eportfolio is envisaged as a read-only space?

Hi Kara

There is a place feedback link at the bottom of the view that is shared.

There is also the option to make this feedback public so everyone with access to the view can see this or just the owner of the view (you would probably want the latter)

To have more control over the feedback to students you can set up a course group with the students as members.

Students can submit a view to the group and the teacher can place feedback including a file attachment . The student is not able to change the view until the teacher releases it to the student (usually after giving feedback)

Hope this gives you a few more options.
