Hi - can you stop other logged in users from seeing your profile page? I realise the page is classed as a view but in My Views it doesnt appear so not sure how, or if, you can deny access to anyone??

 Thanks!

Hello Alison,

Your question spurred my curiosity, so I went to my profile page-we have Mahara 1.07 in my work place- , and there is no such option to hide it. I guess that your profile is like your introductory card-the same than in Moodle, where you cannot either stopped other logged users to look at your profile information.

You can decide what information you want to make public in your profile. You can also your hide your email address, if you don't want to be directly contacted by email.

In the Mahara community, for instance, unless you fill it, there is no public information displayed in your profile.

Regards

Yes you are right -  you can edit your profile view/page as with other views can't you so there is the option there to limit the amount of info others can see about you.

Thanks for that
