nonrecoverable error occured problems
11 May 2010, 4:18
Hi,
We've managed to create a Moodle/Mahara installation but we keep getting an error when trying to use things like the my skills and find friends features:
Mahara: Site unavailable
A nonrecoverable error occured. This probably means you have encountered a bug in the systemI've checked the apache error logs and get the following:
[WAR] 60 (lib/errors.php:464) An exception was thrown of class PieformException. , referer: http:// oursite /mahara/artefact/internal/
[WAR] 60 (lib/errors.php:464) THIS IS BAD and should be changed to something extending MaharaException,, referer: http:// oursite.ac.uk/mahara/artefact/internal/
[WAR] 60 (lib/errors.php:464) unless the exception is from a third party library., referer: http://oursite.ac.uk/mahara/artefact/internal/
WAR] 60 (lib/errors.php:464) Original trace follows, referer: http:// oursite.ac.uk/mahara/artefact/internal/
[WAR] 60 (lib/pieforms/pieform.php:1047) Could not find renderer "", referer: http:// oursite.ac.uk/mahara/artefact/internal/
We're using the latest version of Mahara with a MySQL database on a Linux server. Any ideas for how I can fix this?

I'm still stuck with this. Does anyone know how to fix it?

Hi Carl,
I'm afraid I've never seen that error before, what were you doing when you got it? And is that the whole backtrace or is there more after that?

That's all there is that says there's an error. I can go to Mahara from Moodle without having to sign in again. It all looks great at first - I can edit the profile but when I try to go to things like the 'my skills' , 'my blog' or 'find friends' pages I get the error. I think its primarily an issue with the artifact features.
