Hi-

Ours is a school of education for aspiring K-12 teachers. We've been using Moodle for a couple of years, both as an adjunct to traditional classes and in pure distance mode, and we've just added Mahara integration.  

 The driver behind adding Mahara is this:  during their careers at school our students upload a number of assignments to Moodle courses that result in materials that would be useful to them after they graduate and begin to teach. Many assignments are group efforts which are created and uploaded a piece at a time by individual students, with the whole coming together within the Moodle course.

We would like the students to continue to have access to these materials online after they graduate and after their Moodle courses have been archived, refreshed, closed, whatever. What we're wondering is this:

Is there an easy, automatic, or elegant way that artefacts such as these assignment uploads from Moodle courses can be moved into Mahara for access by groups defined by their participation in those courses?   Or is this going to require someone to manually move them from Moodle's user file system over to Mahara?
