Hi,

I have installed Mahara in my university and this will be used for ePortfolio and also project management tools to share between students.

My question is, is there also any plugin for Bug Tracking tools? Mahara will be used for Software project so this feature will be very helpful. Like creating a ticket for a bug, and assign it to someone.Is that possible?

 If there is no plugin, how can i do it on Mahara? especially for Software project.

Hello,

At the present time Mahara has not plugin for tracking bugs as you would expect to use.

But Mahara's brother Moodle have plugin for that, made by Valery Fremaux (http://moodle.org/mod/data/view.php?d=13&rid=1124). Maybe you could consider using both for your project? Or you could install Jira or other bug reporting tool.

I personnaly use Mahoodle with a moodle blog for bug tracking and ticket management in my school with success.

Hi Dominique-Alan,

 Do you use the moodle blog just for bug reports or for general announcements etc. How would a user report a bug on a blog?
