Self-registration not working for users with apostrophe in name

Hi,

It's possible for an admin to create a user with a username that contains an apostrophe, but it isn't possible for such a user to self-register. To replicate the problem:

  1. Register on a Mahara site with a first name or surname that contains an apostrophe, eg. Paddy O'Shea
  2. Receive the registration email and click on the link to complete registration
  3. Encounter message Mahara: Site unavailable   A nonrecoverable error occured. This probably means you have encountered a bug in the system 
I can't reproduce the error if the name doesn't contain an apostrophe. Mahara 1.2.2

Hi Steve,


This SQL injection was fixed in 1.0.14, 1.1.8 and 1.2.4.

You should upgrade as soon as possible.
