Thank you soo much for the help Heinz! I really appreciate it. I have a project that i'm presenting on Friday so need to have the site at least presentable by then. Based on the guide the only folder with a required permission the main DIR where Mahara is. As of now I have a copy of Mahara at "domains/site.com/manhara/" and "domains/site.com/public_html/". Both DIRs permission are set to 777 for testing. I have been trying to change different DIRs permission hoping for a better result but no luck. Me an users still have to login on every page refresh and plugins arent working. Perhaps I should do a clean reinstall. I'm on a shared host so I can't restart the server. Perhaps this info will help you help me. If you need any other kind of info let me know. Thanks again.

Hi,

Nigel tells us in this situations always "do not unse sharedhost" You will begin/end in not manageable problems.

I hope Richard jumps in to give you additional assistance?!

Does Mahara create subfolders in the maharadata  folder?
