Hi,

 In the latest version of mahara it is possible to create and delete views, but the views created by otheres can be deleted by every normal user.e.g.: user X creates a view and user Y can delete the view created by user X.

Wouldn't it be better that users can only delete their own created views? (and admins ofcourse)

Looked in the admin panel but i can't find anything about this matter.

Hi Rob,

i think that you notice this feature in the group area. Here every member of group hastthe rights to create and delete views.

The normal user views are only maintainable by the creator -> the owner of the view.

I will test if something has changed in this area.

Thanks for the quick reply. If that's the way it work, we have to live with that.

In my humble opinion it would be better if users only can delete their own stuff in the group views.

If there is one rotten apple in the group, he or she can delete all views for the rest and that is not okay.
