Hi All,

 We just installed Mahara 1.2 (a very nice upgrade) which we got from Mahara on Linux  using MySQL. The problem we are having is that we cannot upload files to Mahara. We go to (any) Files page, click on the Copyright checkbox, Choose File, browse to selected file, then click on Choose. What we then get is an endless ball rotating saying Uploading file. Nothing gets resolved. Also, under the File line (Choose File) it still says "no file selected."

 Any ideas?

Hi Marc,

When that happens there's usually some php problem that's going to the error log.  Can you check your webserver logs and see if there's anything there that looks like it might be the problem?

Hi Penny,

Thanks for the response. We did, finally, figure out the proble. We had forgotten to add the Path to ClamAV so all files got hung up while Mahara searched for virus checking. It's the little things that always seems to trip me up.
