Hi,

I am trying to do two things:

1. Find a list with all group members who are (not)subscribed to a forum (like moodle does it, ideally to allow me to force-subscribe users)

2. Force users to stay subscribed to a forum (if the forum is used as part of an exercise, users should not be allowed to 'opt out')

Any idea - if at all possible - where I can find such functionality?

Hi - neither are built into Mahara in 1.1 or 1.2, so you'd have to get your hands dirty in the code. If you want to do that, we could have a dig around and let you know what you should change.

Though you could always auto-subscribe users, and those who unsubscribe are probably going to fail your course anyway as they'll miss important messages..
