Mahara not download the files

Hi,i have just installed Mahara 1.1.6 version with success.
Well, I uploaded 2 files and when I want to download it, the file was opened in the browser without giving me the option of downloading it.
In case of and OpenOficce's Writer file, shows a blank page while OOWriter program is executing in the computer.
Is this the normal behaviour or is possible to configure it?
I tested with SeaMonkey and Firefox browsers for Linux, and the result was the same.

Hi - are you able to upload those files here and put them in a View so we can see them? I'd like to try duplicating the issue.

Hi Nigel,thanks for your interest.
The files are in the grup Comunidad Mahara en Español, because here i don't have permission to upload files.
The files are in the files area, not in a view, and it's name are: prueba.odt and tutotial_modulos.pdf.
In windows, the odt file is downloaded but the pdf one have the same behaviour that i told you.

Hm. I'm not sure, but I think what you are seeing might be behaviour that your browser is doing. What browser are you using? For me, they both download in google chrome and firefox.4 results
