I am working at the University of Bremen, Department of Computer Science and Digiatl Media. We are going to develp the EPOS system (ePortfolio System for Language Learning) on the basis of Mahara. One first plugin is about self-assessment of language competencies according to the European Language Portfolio (ELP).

I am developing this e-portfolio as a repository for the assessments I am required to complete for the introductory higher education course at Unitec.   

I am a passionate advocate of quality education, ongoing innovation and open source projects/communities, Open Education and Open Standards. Currently I work as the Product Strategy Manager for CanvasLMS.

I have worked in the education space for over a decade, specialising in delivery of education for both blended and pure online learning. There is no difference in the methodology of offline and online education. Just the tools change. I am a strong believer that we should always put pedagogy/adragogy first and then ensure we find the tools to best support it.

I work in an industry I love, where I get to educate, create and innovate. I am a strong believer in community and the importance of life long learning.
