Hi,

    I recently did a big upgrade of Mahara and we now are having access denied problems with uploaded documents, a typical error is below:

Artefact 13816 not in page 779

Any ideas?

More info :-)

   It looks like for new files the reference is done

http://xxx.nxx.ac.uk/mahara/artefact/file/download.php?file=13824

  while old is

http://xx.nxx.ac.uk/mahara/view/artefact.php?artefact=13816&view=779

can this be fixed?

Digging more into the issue (I am running version 1.4) I understand the issue could be related to cron.

Here are the errors I get in Cron

Skipping long-running cron job core_rebuild_artefact_parent_cache_complete (Mon, 03 Oct 2011 14:57:59 +0100).
[DBG] 4a (lib/cron.php:502) Skipping long-running cron job core_activity_process_queue (Mon, 03 Oct 2011 14:58:32 +0100).

The problem is solved, the issue was with the cron and the longer job finally completed. 

Hope this thread is of use to anybody who gets a similar problem.
