Hi guys,

Doing a fresh install of 22.10 (with mysql), all runs fine, installer and all,

but I just cannot login as admin with the default password "mahara".

I nuked the the installations 3 times, but still the same result. Search all kind of solutions.

What am I missing?

Hi Alex,

There is not default password for the admin account. When you run through the install, you will be asked to set your own password.

Is there anything in your server's error log?

Thx. I know. That is what is supposed to happen.

But I never get that question. It runs thru the installer, does it all en then I get the login screen.

I will try again in 2 hours.

Ok fixed.

I re-did complete install. Got to the Continue and then I got the login screen.

I had to login with admin and password "mahara" and only then I got

the question to change the admin password.

Mhh. That is still strange because we do not set a default password. Where did you get your code base from? Did you go through our official download page and then selected one of the options? Did you go with the download or the git repository?
