HI

I installed Mahara 1.1.6 on WAMP server. Installation seems work fine. no error at all, but the system showed me "Sorry, your registration attempt was unsuccessful. This is our fault, not yours. Please try again later." when I try to register a demo user. Can anyone help me out?

Hi - you see that error when your Mahara couldn't send e-mail. You'll have to check to see whether your PHP setup can send e-mail.

It might be worth googling for "WAMP php email" or something, to see if there are any clues

 I have the same problem and I don't know how to fix that, I already tryed to look into error.log...which doens't exist and I don't know how to create it...

I still have problems with my registration, I want to create error.log to see where is the problem at user registration:

In which file and where in it can I add this code? (to get error.log on my ftp site root)

 error_log($error_log3 $_SERVER[DOCUMENT_ROOT] . "/error.log");
