Hello,

I have tried to install Mahara on my computer, using Apps and Softaculous. Unfortunately, I get this: 

"The following errors were found :

• Mahara cannot be installed on ampps"

Is there any reason for that? Is there another way of having Mahara with local host?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Ignacio,

The Mahara project team does not provide the Softaculous edition of Mahara. Please contact them to get support on any errors you have come across with installing Mahara at https://softaculous.deskuss.com/.

Is there another way of having Mahara with localhost? Yes – You can install Mahara via Docker on your computer. Please see the instructions at https://git.mahara.org/mahara/mahara/-/blob/21.04_STABLE/docker/README.md
