Hi, all

I have an External Media Block from wisemapping, it is embeded well into the page except that it is not responsive, here is the code:

      <iframe style="position: absolute;top:0;left: 0;width: 100%;height:100%;" src="http://app.wisemapping.com/c/maps/451556/embed?zoom=1"> </iframe>

I also altered the width and height according to wisemapping's hints, but still can't get a responsive page, I am using Ocean theme and the theme is responsive.

      Please advice.

Best Regards

Jason

Hello Jason,

Which version of Mahara do you use? I think we made the block responsive in 16.04. It's responsive for me on 16.04 and on master (16.10 in the making).

Cheers

Kristina

Hi,Kristina

I'm using 16.04.1, as you can see in the following, it's not responsive on iPad when I rotated the screen:

Hello Jason,

Thank you for the additional information. I could see it on an iPad as well (using SauceLabs). So it looks like to be a browser-specific issue. Do you have the problem with other embed code as well or just this one?

I created https://bugs.launchpad.net/mahara/+bug/1624969 to keep track of it.

Cheers

Kristina

Hi Jason,

Kristina noted on the Launchpad bug ( https://bugs.launchpad.net/mahara/+bug/1624969 ) that this seems to be a problem with WiseMapping's code, rather than Mahara's. The content of the iframe that WiseMapping uses, doesn't adjust responsively, so that's what breaks the responsiveness.

So, I'd recommend you report the bug to WiseMapping directly. :)

They have an issue tracker here, although I don't know if it's available for the public to report issues on: https://wisemapping.atlassian.net/secure/MyJiraHome.jspa

You could also try just emailing their "Contact Us" email address from their homepage: http://www.wisemapping.com/

Cheers,

Aaron

Kristina and Aaron,

Thanks, I'll file an issue accordingly to WiseMapping.
