Mahara Portfolio assignment - Moodle 3.0
23 March 2017, 4:46 PM
Yes, the students can roam to Mahara site and they can log into Mahara via Moodle.
I've turned the Moodle debug mode on but I didn't see any error messages when I try to log into Mahara via MNet and when I load the assignment page.
Here is a test account and the test module on our Moodle, would you please help to have a look at this?

I've just reboot the Mahara server and then the problem is solved. We didn't do any changes.
Thank you for your time to help me. I really appreciate it.

Oh that's odd. Maybe there was a problem that wasn't logged to the screen on your server. Good that it works again.
BTW, good that you removed the test account so that nobody can log into your instance. ;-)

hi Bob, just saw this post. We have just moved to Moodle 3 (Moodlerooms) and our mahara assignment submission is working fine. Shows both pages and collections.

I connected my Moodle (3.1) https://moodle4teachers.org and Mahara (16.10.2) http://mahara.moodle4teachers.org via Mnet on the Moodle but it's to working too well. I tried to export Portfolio and got to the Mahara but after it asked the user to fill in a new password (new account), it said to come back later. The two are connected by you cannot create an account via the Moodle only via the export portfolio on the Moodle, but the portfolio does't come through. Can anyone help? s it possible to get free help from a Mahara/Moodle expert? If so, where?

Did you follow all the setup steps for the MNet connection as outlined in https://wiki.mahara.org/images/7/75/Mahoodle-updated-en.pdf ? It's for an older version of Moodle, but the steps are still the ones you need to take. You shouldn't be asked for a password when you come through MNet.
If you still run into problems, it would be good if you made a screencast showing all the settings as mentioned in the guide as it's otherwise very difficult to troubleshoot your problem without access to both Moodle and Mahara.

I get the following error message when users try to log in from the Moodle:
Mahara: Invalid Parameter
A required parameter is missing or malformed
Missing parameter 'wr' and no default supplied

Did you follow the installation instructions?
Please check in your Moodle and Mahara error log. Often there is more information provided than on the screen.
