I am aware that this question pops up from time to time without having been really solved: the event calendar.

I am aware that it is possible to integrate with external calendars like those from google or microsoft - but not always these companies should get my data...

So, an internal calendar might be useful, even a simple one. I did not find anything in mahara. Do i miss something?

My personal need is an internal calendar to organize work in small closed groups.

Hello Beate,

Mahara does not have an events calendar. I filed a basic wishlist item for it at https://bugs.launchpad.net/mahara/+bug/1069630

Could you please give some more details of what you would like to see in such a feature so that other people who are reading your wishlist item know whether that is also something they would like to see?

For example:

• Who shall be able to add events?
• Shall there be a distinction between group, institution and site events?
• Who shall be able to invite others to events? Friends only? Institution members? Anyone?
• Shall the events be exportable as .ics files?
• What event details should be captured?
• etc.
