Hi and good morning;

The following one is the problem I am dealing with:

I would like to isolate, for the users, the general mahara functionalities, which means that they would have to be gathered previously through some mechanism that I don’t know yet and I am looking for.

it would be like having several maharas in only one.

Regarding the matter, I’ve noticed that it was developed a patch for Mahara1.2. called “Isolated institutions” or “walled gardens” and I wonder if there is some implementation done for mahara 1.5. unless It would be well some documentacion explaining how to install the patch in 1.2 version.

Hello Raul,

"Isolated institutions" is not available in Mahara 1.5 and I haven't yet seen patches coming through for 1.6. It is a huge feature to implement and there are still some questions open that would need to be addressed (please see the forum discussions linked off https://wiki.mahara.org/index.php/Developer_Area/Specifications_in_Development/Walled_Gardens ).

There are a few technical details posted on the above wiki page. Ruslan Kabalin and Andrew Nichols know most about this feature.
