Teachers upload images to the Group Files but students cannot use those images in their pages.

I hoped that changing the "member publish" permission of a folder would mean the objects within that folder would inherit those permissions but that doesn't seem to work.

Is there a way to change permissions of group files in the setting of the group.

I need this functionality, teachers taking photos on school trips and the students in the group selecting and putting images on their pages.

Grateful for any help/advice
