Finally Europass plugin version 2.0.0 is released!

Changes to the new version of the plugin:

• Added support for new Europass webservices (version 2.0) - new webservices are available from September 2011
• Added tabbed style version of Europass form
• Added improvements to Europass form
• Added support for multiple language diplomas/certificates for each language
• Added support for multiple language experiences for each language
• Added new export options: Adobe PDF + HR-XML, HR-XML and Europass JSON
• Added import functionality - to allow importing data from Europass XML into Mahara
• Added complete translation into Catalan, thanks to Joan Queralt
• Added complete translation into German, thanks to Heinz Krettek
• Added complete translation into Greek, thanks to Yannis Kaskamanidis
• Added complete translation into French, thanks to Dominique-Alain Jan
• Added complete translation into Spanish, thanks to Iñaki Arenaza
• Added complete language support for Slovenian and English language

Europass plugin version 2.0.1 released.

This version removes problems with fresh installation (in version 2.0.0 only update worked correctly).

This version also includes new icons in upcoming Mahara 1.5 style/fashion.

This version should work with Mahara 1.4 and with Mahara 1.5

Just installed 2.0.1 (which upgraded from 1.4.0 version ok) on Mahara version 1.4.0 and when the students try to export their Europass they receive this error:

There was an error on WSDL server. Please try again later.

This was also found within Apache error logs:

Is there any neat way I could uninstall the previous Europass and maybe install the latest version?

From seeing that log I would say it has nothing to do with previous version, but rather with web services on europass side.

The connection to europass webservices is realized in file and not written in the DB in any way. So overwriting that file would mean clean upgrade/installation, since there is nothing regarding the actual export stuff in the DB. Strange!

Could you please tell me exactly which variables (their values) have you used when trying to generate export. I mean language (locale), CV or LP, exported filetype (PDF, DOC, ODT, ...?) and internal and external date format.

I think that would help.
