Hi,

I've just update a Mahara 1.4.0 with the collection copying feature from Hugh Davenport. It works great, and it's really a useful feature.

I encounter only one problem : when i share a collection, I check the box to "retain view access on copied pages", save, but when I look back to access options, the box kept uncheck.

any thought ?

Hi Jean-Baptiste,

Just to clarify your problem, can you confirm whether you're checking the original page for the 'retain view access' checkbox, or whether you're checking the copied page for the same?

The view rights are only intended for the first copy, not for subsequent copies. It is not intended to grant view access to every copy or copy-of-a-copy ever made.

If this were changed and not needed to be set on a per-copy basis, how would you suggest privacy related to inherited mandatory access be managed?
