Hi Alain,

The spanish language pack has not been updated for 1.4 yet, so you can either try the 1.3 one or the one for master:

Hi Francois thanks for your answer, but i have a problem with the spanish pack.

i upload to my maharadata14 directory the spanish packs. I decompress one of them in XXX/langpacks/es.utf8. No problem with this part.

i give 777 permission to the directory....no problem

i go to my new mahara 1.4 installation, no problem. The spanish option is available.

now the problem: when i upload, for example, a picture in  jpg format the picture upload to the server with no problem. Now when i want to use this picture, for example in the logged out home page, the picture appear with the link broken. in the list of picture or document upload (FILES) the picture upload appear in words but no the little picture at the left side of the name. If i want to download the picture uplaod directly from the browser with the mouse, the browser open a new windows with many characters....

with mahara in english no problems.

the problem is the spanish language packs but i dont know what.

Please can anyone help me?

in advance thanks a lot

Hi Alain,

That sounds like it might be a Mahara bug. Could you please open a bug report for it on our tracker:

  https://bugs.launchpad.net/mahara/+filebug

and attach a screenshot of the problem you are describing (ideally a screenshot of the correct screen in English and a screenshot of the broken screen in Spanish).

Cheers,

Francois
