Greetings...

I have installed mahara 1.2.4 on a Ubuntu 10.4 server. I have integrated this with Moodle 2.0 using https://wiki.mahara.org/images/7/75/Mahoodle-updated-en.pdf. All seems to be working as intended.

My problem is an administrative one with users. They change the display names, etc to things they think are funny. I would like them to be stuck with the name and username they get when they log in. Is there an easy way to change these fields?

Thanks...   Tom

I think you can do this in the site administration>manage institutions. There is a section there "locked fields" and you can lock certain fields such as first name and last name.

Mary...

This is what I was looking for. I am new and fumbling with the menus.

Thanks...   Tom

Hello Thomas,

You could also set up the institution so that the information from Moodle is always updated upon login besides locking the fields.

Cheers
