I have sucessfully installed and modified the CSS of Mahara at http://idp-portfolio.com/portfolio.  Everything was working just fine until I attempted to display a view that I created in a sample account.  I can edit the views, but I cannot display them.  I always get the following error:

Name of View: Site unavailable

A nonrecoverable error occured. This probably means you have encountered a bug in the system

The dashboard view and profile view work just fine.  I have also tried to display a view as admin, and I get the same error.  I am on shared hosting with hostgator.

Here's the link to the error log... http://idp-portfolio.com/portfolio/view/view.php?id=28/var/log/apache2/error.log

It says:

Mahara: Invalid Parameter

A required parameter is missing or malformed

The 'id' parameter is not an integer

Maybe that will help someone know what's going on here with displaying my views.

STILL WAITING FOR REPLY, LET ME CLARIFY THE ISSUE HERE:

I get the following error anytime I try to display or delete a view in any user in any of my version 1.3.5 sites.

Here's another example: http://sabotsites.com/portfolio/view/view.php?id=7

The error says:
Mahara: Invalid Parameter A required parameter is missing or malformed The 'id' parameter is not an integer

I also have a version 1.3.3 running in the same hosting account, and it has no issues.

Using: Linux, mySQL 5.1.52, tested in several browsers

Hi Anita,

That link to the error log doesn't work. Can you paste the error from the Apache error log in the forum?

Cheers,

Francois

Here are two examples of the errors on my 1.3.5 installations:

http://idp-portfolio.com/portfolio/view/view.php?id=28/var/log/apache2/error.log

http://sabotsites.com/portfolio/view/view.php?id=7/var/log/apache2/error.log (on this account, I already have a 1.3.3 working properly)

That file (/var/log/apache2/error.log) is not in Mahara, but rather on the hard drive of the server where your site is hosted. It contains errors that were reported to the web server and it might have details as to what is wrong on your site.

Depending on your hosting arrangements, you may need to ask your hosting provider for a copy of it.

Cheers,

Francois

Hostgator explained to me that I can find it in my cPanel.  I saw the error log and the only error logged there has to do with google.  Hostgator says it must be a missing script in Mahara???

http://idp-portfolio.com/portfolio/view/view.php?id=28/var/log/apache2/error.log

The link is malformed, it indeed contains the text (path to apache log for some reason) instead of just having view ID, thus you get an error that parameter is not an integer. Where did you get this link from? Does view link look like that in your Mahara? BTW, it works fine if you just try to retrieve the correct ID:

http://idp-portfolio.com/portfolio/view/view.php?id=28
