Can we disable registration

Hi. Is there a quick way to disable site registrations? I would like to have a way to control who can register during alpha testing.  I have done searches, but can't find anything on this, plus I don't see anything in the site admin menus.

Hi,

here is the page: admin/users/institutions.php

there is a checkbox Registration allowed?

You have to edit each institution in the system to get the option to turn registration off for them. There's a bug report about making an easy global setting for it.

Cool, that did it.  To tell you the thruth, I hadn't configured institutions, since my site has only one.  But I did edit the name and then was able to disable the registration.  Thanks,
