HI all

First post here - new to Mahara and I'm trying to download it via GIT.

However, when I run

git clone git://gitorious.org/mahara/mahara.git

I get

gitorious.org[0: 87.238.52.168]: errno=Connection timed out
fatal: unable to connect a socket (Connection timed out)

Any ideas?

I've just tried here on a machine that has a local clone from a previous download, but a clean download is failing here as well

Cloning into mahara...
remote: Counting objects: 99765, done.
fatal: The remote end hung up unexpectedly
fatal: early EOF
fatal: index-pack failed

I have just tried now (22:19 CET DST) and the fist time I got the same error you got, but executing the same command for the second time, I've been able to clone it normally. A network or server glitch?

Thanks for the replies.

I'm still getting the same problem today  - and also with Moodle...
