New to Mahara... I just installed Mahara, looks great by the way, and would like to turn in the networking feature. When I set the pick list to yes for networking and select change the screen hangs stating it is loading and when I refresh the screen I get the following error:

Mahara: Site unavailable

Hi Gregg,

Can you check your apache error log and look for anything that might be a problem and paste it here? That'll help us debug any problems :)

Also - what version of Mahara are you using?

I'm using the latest version advertised 1.0.9

after looking at the error log it appears the path to several files are not working....

 

changed the name of the Mahara directory folder to locker per project requirements...

You appear to be missing many critical files. Your locker directory - does it have a js/ and a lib/ directory in it, the way the htdocs/ directory shipped with Mahara does? And if  it does, can the webserver read the files in those directories?

Sorryf for the delay in reply....

I have attempted to set mahara up as a unique project with a database named mahara and the path of http://localhost/mahara/htdocs/ the site installs fine once I visit the networking page and take no action click away from the page and return the same message appears. Nothing was submitted nor modified other than the admin password...

 And to answer your question the folders are present and do have content and the webserver is reading the files...

Would being in a WAMP in evironment be part of the problem?

Possibly. If you're getting non-recoverable errors, then hopefully the error log will have a backtrace - if it still doesn't, then that's a problem because there's no way to tell what went wrong
