Hi everyone,

ePortfolios Australia is a fantastic community of practice that has been advancing portfolio practice for well over 16 years. Dr Heather Pate from Edith Cowan University (ECU) in Western Australia is very active in it. Recently, I participated in a session in which her colleague, Rebecca Scriven, SFHEA, talked about ECU's programmatic approach to learning. The university is undergoing a curriculum transformation, which puts portfolios centre stage and the university management is on board.

Portfolios are not just done by enthusiasts any more but strategically looked at and implemented in study programmes. It's not a quick process as Bec and Heather can attest to, but it's transformational and they are 100% in.

Listen to the latest episode of our podcast 'Create. Share. Engage.' to learn more from them and be inspired as well. And you heard it here first: "The age of portfolios is now!"

Cheers

Kristina
