What is the capability for displaying media as part of a Mahara e-portfolio?
Many of the artefacts from our students are likely to be video, audio or animations that cannot be hosted in YouTube or any other public host. That is, we want them to upload the file directly to the e-portfolio and be able to easily display it in-page.
Has anyone used Mahara with a range of media in this way? I looked at the example portfolio for video and it was mostly embedded from external hosts, with what may have been a .wmv file uploaded directly. How does it handle other file types such as mp3, mp4, .mov, .flv, .swf?
